LFD La Volcada

The cold draw is perfect, and the ash held firm for nearly two inches before I even thought about tapping it. The San Andrés wrapper gives off a sweet, earthy aroma that picks up nicely in the second half, and for a 7x48 it never felt like a chore to finish.

Dark, oily San Andrés wrapper and a perfect cool cap that makes lighting it a breeze. This Churchill took a full hour and a half to finish, with the draw staying smooth throughout.

That Churchill size is a solid commitment at 7 inches, and the San Andrés wrapper burned evenly with no touch-ups needed. Medium-full is about right for my taste, though the draw was a little tight for the first third before it opened up nicely.
