Mac Baren HH Latakia Flake

Smoky from the Latakia hits right away, but the Virginias keep it from being a one-note campfire. Burns slow and cool in my pipe, though the burley adds a bit of bite if I puff too fast.

That first bowl had me hooked — the bright Virginia sweetness cuts through the Latakia smoke just right. The flake rubs out easily and burns slow, giving a solid hour of complex flavor.

The Orient and burley really balance out the Latakia’s smokiness without overpowering it. Feels slow-burning and keeps its complexity all the way down the bowl—definitely my new go-to for a relaxed evening smoke.
