Rocky Patel Vintage Series 1999 Robusto

That 8-year-old Dominican and Nicaraguan filler blend is seriously well-balanced, and the Connecticut wrapper keeps things smooth without killing the spice. Burned evenly down to the nub on my porch last night, exactly the hearty smoke I was after.

The 7-year-old Connecticut wrapper gives it a silky smooth draw, and the aged ligero blend packs a surprisingly hearty kick that builds nicely. Burn was even to the last third, no touch-ups needed. This one's earned a spot in my regular rotation.

The Connecticut wrapper is gorgeous and flawless, and that 7-year aging really shows in how smooth the first third burns. It’s hearty but not overpowering, with just enough spice to keep things interesting. Already ordered another five.
