ルチアーノ・マリア・ルシア・ボックスプレスド・ダブルロブスト

Named after his mother and it shows, this blend has a quiet elegance that makes it feel special from the first moment. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is unusually smooth for a broadleaf, no rough edges at all. I smoked it down to the nub and wished I had bought two boxes instead of one.

Smooth draw right from the first light, and the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper gives a unique texture I haven't found in other robustos. Burned evenly down to a nice nub over about 45 minutes.

The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper is incredibly smooth for its type, not at all what I expected from a dark leaf. The burn was razor-sharp from the first light to the last third, and the draw had just the right resistance for a relaxed smoke.
