The Dark Fired Kentucky gives it a smoky backbone that balances the Perique’s tang, and the cut burns slow and even in my cob. I cracked the tin expecting something harsh, but it’s smooth all the way down to the last third.

The sweetness of the Virginia and Perique balances the smokiness from the Kentucky perfectly, making for a smooth smoke. I was surprised how well it stayed lit with minimal relights, even packed loosely. This will be a regular in my rotation now.
