The braided cotton threads are visibly tighter than the last generic wick I tried, so trimming it to the right angle felt clean and precise. Installed it in about two minutes and the flame sits steady now, even on the first strike.

My old wick had burned down to almost nothing, so I ordered these to keep the flame going during camping trips. They fit perfectly in the standard lighter and the flame stays steady even when I'm out in a breeze. Definitely worth grabbing a pack of spares.

Finally, a wick that actually stays lit in the wind without constant adjustments. It threaded into my lighter perfectly and the flame is steady and reliable.
